EA is an environmental study that measures compliance of a factory’s activities against standards and recommendations that evolved from the findings of the EIA conducted for the factory and from previous environmental due diligence activities conducted.

EA is a basic management tool comprising of a systematic, documented, periodic and objective evaluation of how an enterprise’s procedures, management systems and equipment are performing.

The aim of the audit is to facilitate management assessment of environmental and social practices and to enable the company conform to its own environmental and social policies, while also satisfying regulatory requirements and expectations.

When conducted holistically, an EA will:

  • Inform management of current compliance status and environmental performance.  This includes the status of operating facilities as well as environmental media at the facility;
  • Improve corporate or facility image with regulatory agencies and the public
  • Provide an early warning device for impending problems
  • Improve the risk management systems by reducing environmental liabilities
  • Increase the overall level of environmental awareness.

Our Consultants have extensive experience on EA design and execution and most especially on the tracking and implementation of the EA findings.
