EBS is useful for gathering salient environmental and or social data for an area of interest. These data serves as useful tools in the project planning process so as to ensure that maximum environmental and social benefits accruable from the project are factored in during the project design stage while minimizing the negative impacts.
EBS is primarily used to establish a benchmark environmental condition for an area of interest. EBS data, once approved by the regulatory bodies FMEnv and DPR, can be used as primary or supplementary data sources for EIAs or other requisite Environmental Studies (during the validity period of the data).
Our Consultants have extensive experience on EBS execution spanning diverse industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Free Trade Zones and Power Generation. We have successfully assisted our numerous clients to leverage on EBS data for fast tracking EIA implementation and issuance of requisite approvals by regulatory bodies.
